Computer Repair Service

We offer low-cost, convenient hardware & software repair services, as well as advice and assistance with system upgrades, preventive maintenance and other non-repair services.  This discount pricing is based on you delivering the broken equipment to my shop.  We do not charge for diagnosis or problem determination prior to the start of the repair process.  This is helpful to determine if the equipment is worth repairing or should just be replaced.  We do not sell PC's, but can advise you where and what to buy if you choose not to have your equipment repaired.  Up to this point, there would be no charges for my services.

In-Home / On-Site Installations and Repair
This service is available, but on a limited basis.  If you can't figure out how to disconnect or reconnect the computer equipment or you're unable to carry the equipment, We will be more than happy to come out and pick up it up or try to resolve you problem in your home or business.  We will provide in-home or on-site service for installations of new systems, hardware & software upgrades, routers and wireless routers and VOIP internet telephones.   Troubleshooting broken or slow running PC's in your home just dosen't work well.   Equipment brought to my shop is billed for the time We actually work on the equipment.  Repair at your home or business will also include a one way travel time charge, billed at $40.00 per hour.  A one hour minimum labor charge applies to all in home or business repairs in addition to the travel charge.

Troubleshooting
We can determine whether a problem with your equipment is hardware or software related by using various diagnostic tools.

Upgrades
We specialize in upgrades. including the installation of more memory, larger hard drives, high speed internet and DSL connections.  For hard drive upgrades, all of your data files, pictures, music and internet favorites will be moved to the new hard drive.

Data Back-Up and Recovery
For hard drives that have crashed or are failing, We can attempt to recover your data or can direct you to companies which specialize in that service.  Prices vary according to the size of the hard drive. Estimates are available.

Prompt Service
Repairs are completed on a first-in, first out basis. Repair times do vary based on what your total repair/upgrade will include, but We will always try and get your equipment operational and back to you as soon as possible. We will provide you with a realistic ETA and keep you updated during extended repairs or upgrades. Small jobs can be done while you wait.

Web Site Design
We also do low-tech, Web sites - no point of sales or order taking, just information about your business. Nothing fancy, but to the point and easy to follow. Since you probably found my Web Site using a search engine, you know that it is a practical way to draw customers to your business. We can set up your basic Web Site for usually less than $100. Like all our services, Web Site maintenance and design is billed at the low rate of $40 per hour. Here's some examples of Web Pages we designed and maintain.
